We didn’t see as much wildlife as we would have liked during our trip to the Four Corners, but we did see an owl in Red Rocks, lots of lizards, and dinosaur tracks. We also saw free range cattle and horses, fake dinosaurs along the old Route 66, as well as wildlife warning signs.

Love the dinosaur track. As much time as we’ve spent in this part of the country, I have yet to see a dinosaur footprint. Nice collection of animals and thanks for the link π

Thanks, Ingrid. We saw a lot of dinosaur tracks right outside of Tuba City. It was fun putting together the few creatures we saw!

For sure, Carol. Holbrook, AZ has many other quirky things as well, just like yours, as it contains many of the kitschy hotels and signs and restaurants from the Old Route 66. I’ll do a whole post on the Route 66 part of AZ in a future post. π

The donkey and the dinosaur made me smile. π How exciting to see a dinosaur’s foot impression, and the owl is pretty exciting too – and messy.

Thanks, I thought they were funny too, but no one else seemed to think they were! We saw a lot of dinosaur footprints at this place outside of Tuba City. It was fun to see. That owl was very messy indeed!
